˿����Ƶ has announced that Mary Wilson, philanthropist and life trustee with the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation, and U.S. Congressman Timothy Kennedy will be the university’s 2025 commencement speakers.  

Wilson will serve as the undergraduate speaker and Kennedy will serve as the graduate speaker. 

“We are delighted and proud to welcome Mary and Tim, both long-time friends and supporters of the university, to address our graduates,” said ˿����Ƶ President, Dr. Gary A. Olson. “Their dedication to public service is an inspiration, and their wisdom will help students draw on their hopes and dreams as they set out to achieve their personal and professional goals.” 

Both ceremonies will be held on Saturday, May 17, at Kleinhans Music Hall. The undergraduate ceremony will begin at 12 p.m. and the graduate ceremony will take place shortly following at 4:30 p.m.

The Grammy Award-winning Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus will perform during both ceremonies.
