Meet the Student Alumni Ambassadors!
"As Student Alumni Ambassadors we have the privilege to become active members of the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ community. Through helping with events, we realize the importance of alumni support, including the generosity of many who have helped Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ to become a thriving academic center. We're thankful to the ambassador program for helping us further develop our leadership skills." -Sarah Beth Pilch, '09, '11 Former Chief Student Alumni Ambassador

Why you joined SAA:
I joined SAA for many reasons. First of all, as a proud member of Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ I wanted to join an organization in which I could advance my involvement at the school. Second, this specific club gives me the opportunity to interact and network with alumni. I can also learn from alumni which I will meet who work in my future career. This club is unique when compared to others at the school, which I am excited to be apart of.

A Student Alumni Ambassador means fostering relationships between current students, who might be a little nervous about college, and alumni who have been through it and have valuable guidance. It means ensuring alumni feel connected and involved with the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ community, because once a Wildcat means always a Wildcat.

Maintaining relationships with alumni is so vital to the longevity and community of any institution. Especially at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ, the concept of being one big family is so important. And this family doesn’t end when a person graduates which is part of why those alumni connections are so important.

Why you joined SAA:
Being a Student Alumni Ambassador means bridging the gap between Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ and their alumni. We have the opportunity to help run events and interact with distinguished alumni and to remind them that their Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ family is proud of them. These events and communications are a great way for alumni to stay involved at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ and for students to connect with them. We truly respect them and their work in the world and we're glad to see them back here interacting with Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ.
